What do you want? What do you need?

Over here at blog co-ordinator HQ I've been thinking long and hard about how this blog can serve you all better. What do want to see more of? What do you need help with? Are there particular posts that you would like to see? Are there posts that you don't want to see anymore??

The blog accompanies all the other support options available to all Etsy Ireland team members and should be a place where you can get information, learn techniques and to also, of course, find inspiration so that your creative and crafty juices continue to flow. It should also be a place where you can meet like minded people and hopefully make a friend or two along the way!

So with all that in mind, what can we do to make things better for you? Do you want to learn more about the in's and out's of running an Etsy shop, or have you guys got that down? How about crafty techniques? We're a talented bunch, if I do say so myself, so lets share a skill or two! How about more practical information? Are you in search of craft supplies that you just can't seem to find, is there someone out there who can help you better?

Essentially, lets help each other to do better, be better and hey, sell better! The busy Christmas period is upon us so we'll all need a helping hand!

If you have some nifty ideas and you want to share, comment below or drop me a line at luckyrainbowdesigns@gmail.com - All feedback, ideas, suggestions are most welcome and I look forward to hearing from you all!

  1. Mmmh, how about reports from craft shows? I'm still new to the whole craft "selling" thing and could do with hearing about first-hand experiences.

What about the buyers? Has anyone bought anything exciting recently? Maybe we could do sort of "What I bought and where it lives now" posts? Sorry, brain is a bit mushy today, I'm sure there is a better title for that kind of thing!

As you know, I've only done a couple of "Outfit of the Month" posts - I ran out of time and material - is that something worth reviving? Maybe we could take turns in writing it up.

    Just my two cents :)

  3. how about a general subject - checklist for - and then have different people give their checklists for: doing a craft fair, uploading a new item on etsy, doing a home show, making the perfect cup of tea before knitting all night, shopping for supplies there's a million check lists....they could be tongue in cheek or properly useful and they could be as short as 4-5 check points to a 20 point checklist depending on the subject
