Hello Etsy Ireland!
My name is Rachel (aka balanced.) and I am originally from Northern California. I have been living in Dublin, Ireland for the last 4 years with my husband Joey and our baby Ginger, the cat.
I make mostly jewelry these days, but I've been into arts and crafts my entire life. I started beading about 10 years ago, then it was off and on for a little while. I signed up to Etsy in March 2008, but didn't start listing until December 2008. I had tried selling at another online venue, but didn't have much luck there so I put all my attention into my Etsy shop and it's the best decision I've ever made.
I only wish that I had known about it sooner!
The support from the community at Etsy and especially the Etsy Ireland team has been fantastic! I hope to make it to one of the team meet-ups soon and get to know you all a bit better.
