Hello folks! Just Tanya here with a quick team update for you! Yesterday we had our second team meeting. As you can see from the above photo the sun was actually shining - shock horror... Clodagh, Angela, Sarah and Edana kindly posed for this unmissable photo opportunity - cheers girls! Scootin' out of view is our lovely Yvonne who very kindly set up a facebook fan page for the team - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Crafty-Ireland/112796059286
Over some cool drinks in Bewleys we each did a little 'show & tell' of our latest projects for autumn and had a chat about how the team was moving forward and explored ways on how we can help steer the team forward and get some much needed exposure.
So here are 5 pretty simple ways to help promote the team - in your own time! I'm sure you can add to the list, please feel free to share and comment :)*
Tag your shop items with 'craftyirelandteam' - this will make it so easy for fellow members to find your products for featuring here in the blog, in treasuries and for a bit of window shopping too!
Use your shop announcement to spread the word - something simple like 'I'm a proud member of the crafty Ireland team' is ideal! It lets your future customers know that you are an active member of the etsy community and helps create awareness of our team.
Heart fellow members - book yourself some 'off' time to browse through the members etsy shops and pass on some of those nice big hearts of yours! You never know what you might find!
Be Informed! - this blog is really the shop window and noticeboard for the team so its wise to keep yourself up to date. Consider joining flickr too, its a great way to share pictures and promote your etsy. (Have you noticed that nifty flickr badge over there?)
Tell a friend! - Online marketing is great but nothing works quite as well as word of mouth - so spread the word sisters!
Ok I'm all talked out now!... I'll catch you all later! T xoxo ;)
Good tips - I was surprised the other night when I searched using the tag for a T that so few were using it.
ReplyDeleteWonder if newer members realize about team tags and how they work? Cos there is a lot to learn and navigate when you're new to a site. Maybe we should have a how to do list? I have some stuff from the organic team I can pull out if you think it would be useful.
i still haven't tagged my items but i think i should do it right now..no time like the present!
ReplyDeleteDone!
