Greetings from the Crafty News Desk.....
Brrrrr!!!!!!! It's at times like this that I am glad I am a knitter - wearing hat, scarf, mittens, and warm wooly jumper.....
How is everyone doing this week? Cant believe it is so close to Christmas.
I hope you all got a chance to see the Storque article on 3 December - Heli from HeliDesigns was featured - read it HERE. Congratulations, well done.
No news in this week of any other markets - sure with only 18 more days to go I am sure those of you who were thinking of selling at a market would have already arranged it.
I hope to be in the Glasnevin Food and Craft Market next Saturday selling some great knitting kits, bamboo knitting needles and woolie hats. I know Alexandria from Lexrey will also be there so if you are around call by and say hello.
I am writing a review of the year for the Crafty Ireland Team and would ask you please to contact me with your highlights of 2010 and your resolutions/wishes for 2011. All of your comments will go into the Crafty News Report on the first Monday in 2011 so get your thinking caps on and get in touch.
In the meantime, here is the running list of the rest of the markets from now until Christmas.

11 Letterkenny

Etsy Ireland on Storque!!
!!Happy St.Patricks Day from all of us at the Etsy Ireland Team!!!As you may have heard I was picked to write an article on our national Holiday for Storque, the main Etsy blog. I didn't want to write about cliches, or paint everything too rosey. I did lots of research on the article, and asked loads of people how they felt about St.Patrick's Day. So here is is the finished piece, it just went live about an hour ago, so please click, read, and comment!
,
I also had lots of fun picking Irish shops for the end of the blog post, sadly I couldn't include everyone, but I think there is a really good mix of contemporary Irish work.

Publicity and promo for some team members
Stephanie from Pandacubcafe has featured a load of the Crafty Ireland team on her blog! Yay! She has done a Shop Local in Dublin and also a round up of her Belfast finds, all found via our blog.

What a great start to the Paddy's Day festivities. You can find Stephanie at her Etsy shop too, so go say hi and have a peek at her gorgeous jewellery & accessories.
And Bridget from Bridget Farmer Books is the featured artisan in the UK edition of Etsy's This Handmande Life!

Go and check it out and congratulations Bridget. Pictured below is her Crow Story Hand made artist book.
Have a great St Patrick's Day everyone!
