Eyes Open Ireland - Call for photos

Eyes Open Ireland is back! yeah!
Bridget describes this best back in her original post. We'll be continuing this great idea this year on the blog.

I'll start us off with some of my own photos, but I will be needing your help!
Send me your photos and tell me why you took the photo, which county it is in and your name and Etsy shop link. You can convo me on Etsy or email me at rach@balancedcrafts.com

Let's jump in!

These photos I took on a little trip to the The Mill at Avoca Village in Avoca, County Wicklow.

it's a charming little place...

with a lovely history...

I took these photos, and originally wanted to go here, because I am fascinated by the process of things being made. All kinds of things. It's so interesting to watch all the little parts become one big part. I know I'm not alone here, either.
It's commonly referred to as a tourist destination, but have you been? will you go?

Share with me in the comments! And get those photos out!

  5. I'm so lucky as I live only a ten minute drive from Avoca. It is a wonderful place and I am so fortunate to be able to go there to buy presents or just for a coffee. Their food is absolutely wonderful too! Lovely photos!

  7. Oooh, this brings back memories! I was there a few years ago and absolutely loved it! I watched the weaver for ages, and got some scraps of yarn as well :)

Beautiful place and beautiful products - I bought a bright pink bag which I love to bits!

Didn't the weaver's studio burn down recently? Have they restored it now?
