Welcome to to 'Tea and a Chat With'! This time we're delving into the inner most thoughts of Letizia from Ooakie who is our team admin superstar. Here we go;
Tell us a bit about what you do?
I hate to throw anything away like old beads and ripped clothes so I think that's why I change crafts to suit my new materials (or rubbish to some people). I'm looking into what I can do with all my scraps of material at the moment and I see balls of rags in my future.
Give us some of your favourite designers/fashion peeps;
I've never been a big follower of fashion in any medium but two people who come to mind who I love and always recognise their work are Stephen Pearce and John Ditchfield.
What is the last book you read?
I have a bookmark in Russell Brand's My Booky Wook at the moment and it's been there for well over 8 months. I don't remember the last book I finished because since I started Russell's book I've been a bit stumped. He writes exactly as he speaks and every other word is really long or made up or both, so I gave up after having to read each scentence twice but I hate to leave a book unread and if it get's really really sunny I promise I'm going to finish it.
What are your top 5 films of all time?
Aww only 5 - I have hundreds, oh well;
To Kill a Mockingbird
Equilibrium
The Lost Boys
The Shawshank Redemption
Big Business
If you could be a superhero what super powers would you choose?
Flying. I love planes and look up anytime I hear something in the sky. Must stop doing that though especially at night because I have been freaked out by bats and geese on a couple of occasions. Oh and the other power I'd want is changing outfits and hairstyles while spinning really fast a la Wonder Woman.
Describe yourself in 4 words.
Giggly, Reliable, Soft, Clumsy.
What did you want to be when you were 12 years old?
An Artist ... I think, but I was 12 so maybe I just wanted to be a fairy or something.
Imagine you are having a dinner party, you can invite 5 people dead or alive, who would they be?
Well I have the family and friends kind in real life so let's go for the famous or dead dinner party. My Nan and Uncle to tell me all the news from the other side. Freddie Mercury. Marian Keyes and Ricky Gervais.
What was your mother right about?
I can't think of anything she was wrong about! Damn!
Describe your perfect day
Rolling out of bed naturally (picture that! - I see arms flailing and bruises, do you?) not because I hear an alarm but because the sun is blazing beautifully through the window. Having a bit of french toast for brekkie and then off down the road for a leisurely stroll along the almost deserted beach. Back home for a bit of crafting and then off to meet people for a long lunch. Then back to my home/studio to work/play well into the night with a load of choclately or deep fried snacks thrown in.
Lastly, some linky goodness, link to your shop, blog, facebook, twitter etc etc.

Great post! I love getting to know a bit more about our members.
ReplyDeleteI think I would love to have Ricky Gervais over for dinner, too. :P
I like your perfect day Letizia, especially the chocolate and crafting :)
ReplyDeleteMind you I probably wouldn't go see Mr. Gervais doing stand up but he's always funny in interviews.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't occur to me to not have chocolate Beth :D there always has to be chocolate.
I'd love to be able to change outfits and hair styles a la wonder woman!!!
ReplyDeleteYour prefect day sounds brilliant. Actually, today is such a day - I even rolled out of bed naturally at 8am, but that was only because I went to bed at 11pm yesterday. I was totally wrecked after a day in Dublin :)
Hope you all had a good meeting - can't wait to hear all about it & see pics.
