Eyes Open Ireland

This weeks photos are from me, Bridget, because I'm in short supply! So keep sending in your photos please or you'll keep getting all of mine!!

These first two were taken on Valentines Day when I promised my partner he could have a KFC as long as we ate it on a sea front. Very romantic I know, but I don't really like to do things too romantic on Valentines day! So we went to Donaghadee in Co. Down. A lovely little sea side town down the road from Belfast.

I love lobster pots. To me they make a very Irish scene.

And I do have a penchant for old rusty metal. I love all the different colours here and you can see how the weather and sea has worn it all down.

These next two photos were taken while I was on a trip to visit a friend in Co. Waterford. She took me to a lovely place called Ardmore. I've always wanted to see one of these ancient towers, and now I have! It was such a beautiful day even though it was February. There is a gorgeous sea cliff walk which ends at this Church Yard and Tower.

Please please keep sending in your photos! See this post for details of what to do. Thanks!
