Inspirational Visit, Festival of Lights Dublin.

Hi there Anne-Marie of Handmade by Amo'r here with an invite to team members to another 'Cultural Visit'. A few team members are getting together on Oct 22nd to attend Diwali, Festival of Lights at Dublin's RDS. Tickets (€11.50 inc booking fee) are available via Ticket Master. Any team members who can make it are welcome to join us.

Details can be found on this private team thread, where you can post your interest/arrange where to meet.
The festival promises to be a lively and colourful event with Indian dance, music, food and floral art. The highlight will be a firework display. It's guaranteed to get our imaginations going while giving us an insight into a diverse and fascinating culture.

Before the summer, a few of us got together to visit the National Museum of Decorative Arts. The collection of jewellery and fashions fired our imaginations, but the chat over coffee afterwards was equally inspiring. If you can't make it to Dublin for the festival, perhaps it will spur some of you around the country to organise similar 'go-tos' in your own locality...(ah sure, any excuse for a crafty natter.....)
