Calling All Creatives!

Ennistymon Fibre Art Installation Project
Opening date for submissions: 25 February 2013
Closing date: 31 May 2013

This is an open call for artists, printers, illustrators and designers in different textile, fibre art, fine art and design domains. Anyone and everyone can participate in this project.

Theme: Colour.
The requirements: All pieces must be able to be sewn together to form a larger installation. Non toxic safe materials only and handmade original work.

Participants are asked to knit, crochet, weave, felt, illustrate, print, dye or paint onto fabric. Pieces can be any colour, yarn or fibre, any size, shape and pattern. 

They can be anything from embroidery, a granny square, a knitted scene, an Aran knitted rectangle, crochet stripes, flowers or leaves, lace, handwoven cloth, felting, an illustration on cloth, a written piece on fabric, printed fabric, batik, shibori, yuzen dyeing, tie dye, patchwork, appliqué, cross-stitch. Everything and anything fibre art related. Be creative, be individual, be unique but most of all, make it handmade, make it your own work and have fun with your creations.

There is no limit to how many pieces of work you can submit.

By submitting your work you are consenting for it to be used for The Ennistymon Fibre Art Project and shown in an exhibition. (Venue and date to be announced.) We will not be able to return any pieces received.

Please include your name/group name, town, country or any other information you would like included with your contributions. We value each and every piece and want to make sure that we include you in our list of participants.
