This week we had four new members join the Etsy Ireland Team. It amazes me every week to discover the talented people out there and to see what they are busy making. This week's group of new members brings great variety, from beautifully handcrafted fabric products, to handmade jewellery, superb knitted hats and Celtic Art. Let's meet the new members...
Little Irish House is based in the West of Ireland and Carla makes the most adorable fabric owls. I would love a set of these cute little birds, filled with lavender, to sit above my fireplace. My favourite are the set made using autumn leaf print cotton fabric. Check out Little Irish House to see the other sets and the range of other products handmade by Carla.

Ocean Shell Knits is a must-see-shop. The range of knitted hats are not only available in a gorgeous range of colours and styles, but they are knitted to perfection. The high quality of the craft does not surprise me, as owner, Ramona, has been knitting since she was 8 and when she was 10 she helped her granny with her knitting business. The hat featured in the picture below, is knitted with rustic chunky yarn, 10% wool, 82% acrylic, 8% viscose which means it will not itch at all. So sweet!

Claddagh Craft is a collection of Celtic Art handcrafted in Co. Galway by Irish artist John Victory. The pieces speak for themselves however John has lovingly described each piece in his shop, lending a deeper meaning and uniqueness. The piece I have chosen to feature (it was not easy to chose one, by the way!), is called 'Belong' and holds the theme of inspiration and healing. The copper piece is embossed and heat coloured using a variety of techniques and it is signed by the artist. Intrigued? Have a look here for more detailed background to this striking piece.
